The feeling is as if
the clouds are shifting
And from the depths of darkness
holding onto floating twigs
jumping over despair
reemerging is the sunk hope,
resurfacing is the sunk hope.

Have Some Pride

It’s certainly not love
Leave no room for doubt.
Doesn’t look like budding friendship either
So it shall be, day in and day out.

Though you might think so
Neither is it getting to know.
And if you’re unable to see
Retrospect, shall we? Continue reading

Hit and Miss

In the dark alley, he rode past her.

The headlamp spoiled her spur.

Blinded by light, she closed her eyes.

He saw her, she missed his sight.

Paris

Talking about art at The Louvre
Living our dream, with her
Walking along the banks of Seine,
You must be on cloud ten.

Leave being sad,
I am not bothered anymore.
When life closes one,
It opens another door.

Jolene and Philandro

Here is a stranger’s story of love- stepping into her small shoes.

People bump into each other,
So did we last summer.
We ate sausages and drank beer,
The song you sung, I can still hear.
Ten days went by in a flash,
Like I was smoking some good hash.

So I packed my bags again,
To go to a new college, a feign.
None could tell that lay beneath,
Pretentious leaves of my heart’s heath.
Luck by my side, slid me with ease,
Into the land of wine and cheese.

As we tread, the cobblestone street,
Our shoulders brush, and eyes meet.
I can’t hold it anymore, and so can’t you.
I see it burn in your big eyes. Oh, phew!
You overwhelm my whole existence
Just how you promised, in your insistence.

Nothing Lasts Forever

IMAG2913 - CopyThinking of her life without him,
gave her shiver.
But such is life, it goes on, and
nothing lasts forever.

Stay

For long he did not look her way.
She picked her books to leave.
With a shy grin he said, ‘stay’.

Fluttering Away Slowly

The harbinger, dark, handsome and short
Sled down and jumped on the lowered lifeboat.

He looked at the peafowl he had caught
who he would never leave, even in his thought.

He assured it, he would come back soon
with a catch of Barbue, when shines the moon.

It hopped and danced, waiting on the deck
Grapevined in merry, tapped to heck. Continue reading

I Found My Answer

I waited for you to kiss me.
In your stillness, I found my answer.

I waited for your hand to hold mine.
Seeing the phone in yours, I found my answer.

I waited for a word from you.
In your silence, I found my answer.

Before I could wait for something again,
I wrote this, and found my answer.

That’s life.
