About Me

Hello People!IMAG2290

In short, I am Oshin and I am a Communication Designer. I have an innate penchant for finding stories and storytelling. I observe, I would like to think- I empathize with with all that I see and I anticipate what is to follow. I love reading books, and watching cinema is essential to me. Also, I like to photograph people when they least expect it.

More About Me

Talking of design, I adhere to design process, albeit leaving some room for spontaneity. While I love minimalism in modern design, on the other hand I also admire intricacy. I think it’s all about the context but sure enough, juxtaposition of elements in unexpected contexts brings in that madness we all strive for.
I believe art and design to not be mutually exclusive; I think they meet somewhere and when they do some of the best work come out. And so forth, I look forward to experimentation with media and interdisciplinary collaboration for work.

Now talking about writing, I always enjoyed writing but somehow lost touch with it. Have found my old interest again amidst the hectic schedule of my design work. And finally the much procrastinated blog started on July 14th, 2014. Thoughts never stopped, they just didn’t get scripted; and now they shall.
Check it out. There’s not much now, but I wish to keep it going and so shall it grow with time.

Trivia
I love the color Blue. Tints, tones and shades of it. Indigo, Cobalt, Midnight, Prussian, Ultramarine… and the ones without name. Given a chance, I would paint the world blue! Blue glass and blue suede shoes are such a marvel to my eyes. Also, I love its interplay with white. So, it must be pretty obvious, I love Blue and White China, Indigo dye work from all parts of the world especially Shibori (a Japanese tie-and-dye textile work).

Let me know what you think. I would really appreciate feedback, criticism or even appreciation if any!

On another note, well, this describes me the best!

Haha… That would be cool! You should do that. And I don’t I don’t know about Captain Bluebeard but there was some nobleman who was in habit of murdering his many wives and making them disappear mysteriously! And if the girls around you know this legend, you might just chase them away! 😀
